Cincy Visit

This past weekend we decided to take a little impromptu visit to cincinnati. For all cincinnati friends - sorry I didn't call. We mostly just layed low at my mom's house and had some time with my dad. Life seems to be increasingly complicated with these little ones and I'm finding myself doing less and less, which in another way is making my life increasingly less complicated. It's actually been a really good lesson in learning to live in the moment and let go of my plans and schedules and ideas of what I would probably "like" to do.

isaac is quite the piano prodigy

isaac has been really into the "no" phase lately. I know that at some point it might get annoying, but right now it is sooooooo cute! Most of the time when we ask for a hug or a kiss, he gets a very serious look on his face and shakes his head and says no. That is why this picture was such a shock. We were at dinner and Dan asked for a kiss and Isaac just kept kissing him over and over.

Happy St. Patty's Day!!

We had the most beautiful St. Patrick's day. It was sunny and above 70 degrees. We enjoyed the weather all day long. It was also play group at my house, so we all had a picnic in the back yard.

Silly Lily

I walked into my room the other night and looked on my bed and this is what I saw. I just thought it was so cute so I had to take a picture. :)

About to roll over!

These finger things are a source of endless entertainment.

Love the little curl sticking up.

The Yuckies

This past weekend we had a serious case of the YUCKIES here at the orr household. First I had the stomach flu on Friday. Then Saturday morning Dan took Isaac with him to a YL committee person's house and Isaac threw up EVERYWHERE all over their house. Then Isaac continued to throw up all over our house about 10 or 15 more times in the last two days...no exaggeration.

This picture was taken only moments before the puke monster was about to strike. Lily first spit up all over and then while I was cleaning her up I look over to see Isaac throwing up. It was a very tricky situation.

I stripped off all of Isaac's clothes and threw him in his crib while I cleaned up puke then I came back and threw him in the tub. I feel like someone should award me some kind of certificate for figuring out this whole scenario.

Cat Door

We originally cut a hole in this door so that Billy (our cat) could get downstairs when he needed to use the litter box. Then we soon realized that Bear (our dog) was also able to get through the hole. Oops. And now, Isaac's new favorite game is to close the door and use the cat hole to get downstairs. There is a video at the end of him using the cat door.

Our cat door is now also a toddler door.

A pic I snapped of me and the kiddos.

I'm so glad that I caught this one. I was laying on the floor by lily and out of nowhere Isaac just comes up and throws his arms around my neck and says "mama" in his sweetest little voice.
