ASC 2008

The reason we were in FL, was for ASC (All Staff Conference) 2008. Every four years YL brings all staff together in Orlando for a 6 day conference. We had so much fun!!
The last night there was a formal dinner and tons of fun.
You can kind of get an idea of what a HUGE event this is. Picture a wedding for 4000 people. It was CRAZY!!
Some of our friends that are on staff with us here in Chicago. Adam, Rachel, Dan, Kelly, and us.
Me, Anna, and Kelly.

Warm Weather :)

Isaac and Dan chilling together outside, enjoying the nice break from the freezing cold Chicago weather.
Happy Baby! Isaac did such an amazing job flexing with our crazy schedule while we were in FL. He really is a dream! Always smiling and laughing, brining us so much joy and reminding us to smile.
FIRST TIME IN THE POOL! Two of the whitest men you have ever seen. Isaac wasn't a huge fan of the pool, I guess he takes after his daddy. Or maybe it was just too cold.
More pool fun with mommy!

I LOVE COOKIES!!!

On the plane on the way to FL, we decided to try something new and gave Isaac one of the little cookies that they hand out. He LOVED it!! probably not the ideal situation for such a mess....oh well!
"Hey, I wasn't done with that cookie. Don't you know it's not nice to take away someone's cookie while they are in the middle of eating it??"

Good to know....

So...I'm Isaac Orr. Some call me Ike, some call me Budgie, some just call me awesome. You may know me from this blog. It's pretty much my claim to fame. But there may be some things that you don't know about me. For instance, I love being naked, especially with my zebra slippers on sitting on the dining room table. I couldn't show you all my goods...because that just aint right. Something else you may not know about me is that I am probably the pickiest baby of all time. I can tell if the milk my mommy gives to me at one time was frozen and all I can say is NO THANKS!!! I can tell if some of the formula in that bottle was in the refrigerator last night...YUCK!!! And most recently I can tell that the baby food you have been feeding me is not my brand of choice and I will just continue to scream until you give me the good stuff.
So, Auntie Lolo...I wanted to tell you about my dog Bear...are you listening because I'm not going to tell you twice.
Ok, now Bear, make sure and be on your best behavior. I don't want to look like an idiot here.
And you with the camera over there. Pay attention!! I'm expcting some quality shots.
...This is my dog Bear. I love my dog bear. I love to pet his fur and give him lots of hugs. I don't have any brothers or sisters yet, so I call him Brother Bear. He is a good brother. Oh, and by the way...just ignore that little poodle in the background. He barks too much anyway.

little guy

OK...I just have to say that I am having so much fun with this little guy!! He is hilarious. He is doing all these new things that make me laugh so much. So, I have already said how he loves to say dadadadadada over and over and over. That that hasn't really changed, except now sometimes he does the whole thing in a really deep gurgly voice, like an old man. The other night he kept doing it over and over and I couldn't stop laughing.

Anyway, I still have tons more christmas and FL pics to share, but I had to put these ones up today. So a couple hours ago I was working on some YL stuff on my computer and I set Isaac down in this chair in the office with his baseball rattle as you see below.

Isaac sitting with rattle the way that I left him as I was doing work on my computer. About 10 or 15 minutes went by and I turned around to check on him and below is what I saw.
SERIOUSLY!!! The rattle was thrown to the ground and this book of Dan's (which had been sitting on the table) was open in his lap, and he had this guilty smile on his face.
I look back a minute later and he is holding the book like this and part of a front cover is chewed off. pretty funny times in the Orr house! Stay tuned for more pics and stories.

Funky Monkey

Uncle RJ loves monkeys. That's all he wanted for christmas.
Uncle RJ did get a monkey for christmas and me and the monkey got a long quite well. He really liked it when I tried to chew on his nose.
Stop interrupting my private time with mr. monkey.
I am love struck.

The Return of Isaac Orr

So...we have been gone for awhile. First my mommy took me to cincinnati to visit my nana and my poppy. Then we were home for only 3 days and were on our way to florida. It's been a CRAZY three weeks. I chose this to be my first pic to share with you guys, because this is exactly how I feel right now. Kind of happy...kind of tired...kind of...are you kidding me??
This is my poppy and me. He gave me some pretty sweet christmas loot. Like the albert einstein doll that I am holding. It's a nice doll...I like it...but I'm not quite sure if there was an underlying message. I'm trying to learn new things all the time, but I might never be an einstein.
Aunt lolo and me. I won't let go of this einstein doll...so don't even try to take it away from me.
Dinner with mommy and aunt lolo. I'd have to say that my favorite part of dinner was when I was put in my chair and mommy covered it with a blanket. THANKS A LOT!! Serisously...I might not have a lot to add to the conversation, but that doesn't mean that I don't want to be part of things.
Yeah...that's me...feel free to swoon. Wearing my new christmas outfit from my auntie. And just in case you didn't notice, the scarf on that polar bear perfectly matches my tweed pants.
