my mommy and me

I like to hang out with my mommy. Sometimes I fall asleep when she is holding me. It's really cozy and fun.
Sometimes when mommy holds me I just get so happy. I like to laugh and smile.

Mommy likes to read to me. I'm getting pretty into this latest book. It's called the Memory Keeper's Daughter. Quite riviting. The only problem is sometimes I fall asleep while she is reading and miss big parts of the book and it's hard to know what's going on.

These are a few pics I took last week and I really love. It's crazy how much personality I am already starting to see in this little man. He is so wonderful. Sometimes I just hold him and hold him and hold him knowing that before long he won't want to stay in my arms. Even the smell of him makes me smile. The love you have for a child is such an amazing beautiful gift. Also...sorry for all my cheesy posts. I guess being a mom has really brought out the cheese in me.

OK, so I am so sick of this stupid green little seat that I always have to sit in. I mean...I don't even get to have any say over where we go or how long I am stuck in here. Seriously mom...are you ready to leave yet???
Oh my gosh...can you even believe that she just said that!!! How embarassing!! It's like I'm not even sitting here or something.

Fine...I'm trying to be patient here...but give me a break. This is sooooooooo boring. How much longer am I going to have to wait??

Ok....so now I am just really angry. Don't even try to talk to me. I need some time to just cool off.
OH MY GOSH....I think I see an ant and it is getting really close to my foot...someone...anyone....can you hear me....a little help right now would be great.

Isaac's first Friend

This is Isaac and Phineas. They love to hang out. Phineas is about three months older than Isaac. He can do lots of things that Isaac can't do yet...he likes to show Isaac the ropes. He can put his passy back in his mouth when it falls out...but isaac can't do that yet. And Phin can scoot around on the floor and Isaac is pretty much stuck wherever we leave him.

We had the priveledge of getting to spend some time with Dan's relatives from New Zealand last week. Aunt Liz and Uncle Roley are the coolest!!! I think that Isaac really like them too. We also got to celebrate Uncle Ian and Aunt Shirley's 50th wedding anniversary. WHAT AN AMAZING ACCOMPLISHMENT!!! 50 years of marriage is truely something to be celebrated!

Cincinnati Time

I got to spend some really great time with my nana in cincinnati. She loves me a lot!!! She always gives me lots of hugs and kisses. I feel very special when I am with nana. She even bought me two different baby baths. The first one wasn't very comfy and didn't hold much water, but the second one was great...except that it leaked water all over the table.
Sometimes when nana holds me I just kind of drift away...I miss nana.
Uncle RJ is pretty cool too. I got to spend a lot of time with him while I was visiting because he was on house arrest. I don't really know what that means, but I know he had on a funny looking ankle bracelet and he couldn't leave the house.
Sometimes uncle bobbers and I like to veg out together. Uncle bobbers really understands me.

Bathtime is FUN time!!!

When I had my first bath, it was really scary and kind of wierd. But lately I have really been enjoying bathtime. I am actually kind of a bathtime pro. I can do baths better than any other baby I know. Sometimes when I am in the bath I like to make funny faces...like this one. My funny faces always make mommy laugh. I like to keep her on her toes.

BIG and little

Last week I was in Cincinnati visiting some family and friends. It was such a GREAT week. I will post some more pics from that week soon, but I had to put up these two. They are some of my favorite pics of Isaac yet. I feel like they should win some kind of award. This is Isaac with his uncle RJ. It's hard to believe that they are the same species. Isaac really loves his uncle RJ, and RJ really loves little Isaac (even dispite their difference in size...).
