Moving Out

So, for the past 6 weeks (since we came home from the hospital) Dan and I have been sleeping in a queen bed that is in Isaac's room. These pics represent the view of Isaac I have from the bed. I have so enjoyed every morning waking up and opening my eyes to see this little bundle looking back at me from across the room. Well two nights ago we moved back into our room. It was a really hard adjustment for me. I was crying for about 20 minutes. Dan thought it was cute...but also laughed wondering what I am going to do when Isaac goes off to college. I can't even think about that!!

Smiles and Pouts

Ok...so...babies are soooo funny!! I didn't realize that so soon he would be showing so much emotion. But I guess between my genes and Dan's it was bound to happen. Isaac has been making the CUTEST faces!! It has been wonderful to see his little smile. And almost as enjoyable as his smile is his pouty face. It is hilarious. All of a sudden he will just push out his bottom lip really far and make the biggest pout. I love it!!! I caught this one this morning. It's not the best I have seen, but at least you get a taste of what I am talking about. (also...dan's hand looks huge and harry in this picture...kind of funny:)

Isaac's Overalls

I was brought to a true love and appreciation of overalls by my good friend Katie. In high school she deemed every friday (I think it was friday) as "Overall Friday" and she would wear overalls every friday. Well, Aunt Katie was nice enough to give Isaac his first pair of overalls and he wore them today for the first time. It being his first overall day, I thought we should do a photo shoot. From what I can tell it seems like Isaac will be on overall fan for life. He seems very happy in his overalls. I took about 50 picturs and these were a few of my favorites.

Family Pic

Daddy & Isaac Time

Daddy & Isaac Time

I always seem to catch the cutest moments with Dan and Isaac. I'm waiting for someone to start catching some of those same moments with Isaac and I. The first pic is of Dan walking down the street in Put-in-Bay with Isaac over his shoulder. It was a VERY cute moment. Everyone that walked by almost stopped in their tracks to see such a little baby. Also...I must comment on Isaac's pastel plaid outfit. It is probably one of my favorites. Dan has decided though that he isn't allowed to wear it anymore. Whenever he wears it at least a couple people comment on what a cute little "girl" he is. It doesn't bother me. It doesn't seem to bother Isaac, but it definitely bothers Dan. Also, the picture of them sleeping is not posed but real. I asked Dan to watch Isaac while I was getting ready for bed. I came back in the room and that is what I found. I took about 20 other pics, but this one was my favorite.

Sister

For the fourth of july I got the pleasure of spending some qualite time with my sister Lauren. This weekend I was able to reflect a bit about how thankful I am to have a sister. It is a unique and beautiful relationship. We know eachother from the groud up. She understands things about me that no one else does. We are also blessed to have personalities that really go together well. For example, when we were little I would boss lauren around and she would just do what I said and not complain at all. You might think I am kidding, but I am not. It's also quite a blessing to have someone that you can really relate to in the midst of all the family dysfunction :)
