The Kiss Monster

So, daddy always tries to play this game with me, where he is the kiss monster and he runs after me trying to give me lots of kisses. It is a fun game. But tonight I decided that I was going to be the kiss monster and mommy was going to be my prey. Look she has no idea what is about to get her. hahahahaha...
Here I go. The kiss monster is on the attack...and still she is so clueless. It's like she has no idea what is about to hit her.
I GOT HER!!! Here come the kisses! I'm the kiss monster and you better watch out.
You know that you are helpless against my attacks. I'm just going to keep kissing you and kissing you and there is nothing that you can do about it.
Exactly! You thought you were going to get away...but you were wrong. The kiss moster isn't done yet. All of you out there better be looking over your shoulder because you never know when the kiss monster will be on attack. And as you have seen above, most people never see me coming.

Betsy & Julia!

Betsy is one of my best and oldest friends. We have been friends since middle school (when we lived in Cleveland). It's wonderful that we now both live in the same city (kind of - I'm in Wheaton, she's in lincoln park). Betsy had a beautiful baby girl on April 8th (just one day after her birthday). Isaac and I got to visit Betsy and Julia and had a fun day in the city. Betsy seems to be a wondeful mommy and Julia is such a precious little one!

Outdoor Meals

Since it has been getting so nice we have been enjoying eating outside. Isaac sits in his bumbo on top of the table which works perfectly! Isaac really is the cutest little doll. Sometimes I just have these moments that I wish I could put in a bottle and keep forever!

Isaac getting older

A few weeks ago a friend of ours took some of these BEAUTIFUL pictures of issac. He took literally hundreds of pictures, but these are a few of my favorites. It's crazy how big Isaac is getting and how much he is growing up. His new favorite thing to do is to cruise around the furniture (still no crawling). He also LOVES to eat strawberries. Sometimes it is literally all he will eat. His silly little personality is coming out more every day. He continues to be a very content little fellow. And...for those of you who may not know, we are expecting baby #2 in Nov. Crazy days ahead for the Orr family :)

Food is my friend!!

As you can see in these pics, Isaac LOVES to eat. He will literally eat just about anything. Some of his strange favorites include: dill pickles, lemons, spicy food, and just about anything else. His least favorite words are "all done." Every time I say, "all done" he will proceed to wail and scream hoping that he can do something to get more food. On occasion he has had food in both hands, and in his mouth, and he will put his face down on the table to get more. It's pretty funny.

Why didn't you tell me about swings earlier??

I am so happy!!! I am swinging. I feel like I could just burst because this is so much fun!!
Look, I really might burst. Either out of sheer enjoyment or sheer chubbiness.
Help mommy...I feel like I might fall out of this swing. No, actually I really like this feeling.

Wow...that was a lot of crazy swinging. I think I am ready to head home, but I sure do hope that we can come back here again soon.
Now, this is what I am a little more used to. Much safer, but much less fun.

I love to stand up and hold onto things. I feel so grown up!
This is my auntie LOLO. She came to town last weekend. We got to sleep in the same room. Lots of fun. Auntie LOLO love to eat pretzle sticks and she even gave some to me. I love them too!
